St. Francis of Assisi’s feast day and blessing of the pets is observed on October 4th. What a perfect time to share what pets in Heaven have to say!
St. Francis wrote, in his Canticle of the Creatures,
“All praise to you, Oh Lord, for all these brother and sister creatures.”
The bond between human and pet is unlike any other.
Through our relationships with pets, we learn about loving unconditionally and being present in the moment.
We experience a happy beginning, countless joyful moments, and — when our pet physically dies — a profound sense of loss.
“Every pet is a tiny tragedy waiting to happen.”
– George Carlin, Author & Comedian
When a pet dies, the love we share remains imperishable. Just like the people we love, pets go to Heaven too!
Here are some thoughts that pets on the “otherside of life” have shared with me, often and consistently, through my endeavors as a spiritual medium.
When Pets in Heaven Speak, They Often Say:
I am grateful that God sent me to you.
I feel your love each time you think of me.
Try not to stay sad. I like it better when you think about our happy moments together.
I left the Earth at exactly the right time. Please, trust me on this.
I have everything I want in Heaven except for you. I will wait, but there is no need for you to hurry.
