My holiday wish for you is PRESENCE. Notice the spelling of that word.
Give yourself and your loved ones the gift of being present in the moment. You don’t have to physically be there if that’s not possible.
But “be there” mentally and emotionally. Make the time to put your worries, job, chores and conflicts aside.
And for those depressed about loved ones who have left this physical world and won’t be here for the holidays, I have a message for you:
Our loved ones in spirit want us to celebrate the holidays. Decorate that tree. Go to that party. Take Christmas communion or light the Menorah. And while you are being truly present in such a precious moment, you may feel the presence of your loved ones on the Other-Side.
You may receive a sign from spirit. It could be a book or photograph that unexpectedly shows up, an unusual visit from a bird, or a special song that plays at just the right moment. Some people set an extra place at the table to honor their loved one on the Other-Side. The right thing is what feels right to you. The important thing is that you are still here and this is reason to celebrate the holidays.
